Jacqui Lambie Calls For Death Penalty In Australia

Jacqui Lambie
Founder and Publisher. Based in Brisbane.
Howard launched 'Scene Magazine' in 1993. Paul Keating was Prime Minister. Whitney, Janet and Mariah all had Aussie #1s and Mark Zuckerberg was 9. He's been spotted at raves, hip hop concerts, Motown revivals, judged battle of the bands, myriad opening nights and national awards red carpet, partnered with music industry showcases, comedy festivals and now he's quite tired. He interviewed Eddie Izzard. He likes Star Trek and a good Oxford comma — way too much fun at parties.

Jacqui Lambie has called for a return to the death penalty for terrorist acts.

In radio heaven for Triple M’s 'The Hot Breakfast' the ex-Palmer Untied and now Independent Senator told Eddie McGuire and Mick Molloy "those planning attacks against the military should face the harshest penalty".

"If there was a terrorist attack that killed my family I know what I would want to do and I wouldn't want them walking around on the streets or better still I don't want them in gaol because these cells grow and they're able to do that behind bars.

She conceded the policy probably wouldn't 'get up', but at least it showed she was serious "and that while the rest of you were out there tap dancing, there's not much else I can do about that". She said she would introduce a bill as soon as practicable.

She also said that Australian citizens who chose to go overseas and fight should have their citizenship cancelled: "We certainly don't want them back here on home soil. Full stop."
