Founder and Publisher. Based in Brisbane.
Howard launched 'Scene Magazine' in 1993. Paul Keating was Prime Minister. Whitney, Janet and Mariah all had Aussie #1s and Mark Zuckerberg was 9. Over 30 years he's overseen the growth of scenestr to become Australia's largest – and only national – street press while forging a digital-first imperative in the mid-naughties. Social media remains a complete mystery to him. He's been spotted at raves, hip hop concerts, Motown revivals, judged battle of the bands, shot video for opening night and natinal awards red carpet, partnered with music industry showcases, comedy festivals and myriad other cultural productions ... and he interviewed Eddie Izzard. He likes Star Trek and a good Oxford comma — way too much fun at parties.

The RSPCA believes they have found the person responsible for throwing a cat against a wall.

This morning, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals thanked the public and the media for their help in locating the man believed to be responsible for hurling a cat over a fence and into the window of the house next door. The video was originally posted on Snapchat and sparked universal outrage.

The video was originally sent to Channels Seven and Ten who then passed it to the RSPCA.

RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty said, “We are finalising the investigation and charges are expected to be laid next week.”

But old mate isn't the first to enjoy infamy for being a dick. A 15-year-old in California was charged for hurling a cat in the air – and likely killing it – late last year. Viewer discretion is advised.
