Game Of Bones: British Sports Broadcaster Calls Epic Match Between His Two Dogs

'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

British freelance sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter has broken the boredom of isolation for many around the world (particularly us tragic sports nuts lamenting the lack of live sport), with another broadcast of his furry mates: Olive and Mabel.

Titled Game Of Bones, this video features Olive and Mabel in the final minute of tense game to own the orange bone – one of the most prestigious prizes in dog wrestling.

"[I] wasn't going to do another one, but the ongoing lack of the actual sports events I commentate on can change a man," begins Andrew. "Some sports are slower; more about the strategy."

For those who want more, Andrew also filmed this wonderful piece, The Dog's Breakfast Grand Final, last month.

And for those thinking they can outdo Andrew's performance, take a moment to soak in this man's broadcasting credentials: Olympic Games, Wimbledon, The Open, Ryder Cup, 6 Nations, Rugby World Cup, World Athletics Championships.

That said, if the living legend Dennis Cometti has seen Game Of Bones, we need an Aussie version stat. Please. Like pretty please.
