At least once a year we receive yuletide joy in the form of an animated eCard from Nan. It's a nice gesture with only good intentions, but it only opens in Internet Explorer 6 with an outdated version of Shockwave.

This type of forwarded email is often accompanied by unbearably low-resolution GIFs, presumably so the email loads fast, and you can get your ‘laugh out louds’ quicker. If you haven't received this email for a while, you might need to check your spam folder.

The obvious credit card scam
