Five Dancefloor Moves with Phoncurves

Phoncurves
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

The Phoncurves are leaping and bounding through 2014.

Having already been named a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist and supported Caitlin Park, the dream-pop duo will support Irish indie-rock heavyweights BellX1 on their upcoming Australian tour. They also have their own headlining touring that kicks off this week.

With a recently released ‘Heartstrings’ EP, the duo of Abbie Roberts and Naomi Hodges share their Top 5 dancefloor moves.

The Running Man

Get your running shoes on! I love a good Running Man breakdown on the dancefloor.

Moonwalk

Let’s be honest, we all try to master the moonwalk. It always feels like your walking on air, but the visual reality is me stepping backwards very slowly.

Gangnam Style

Any time 'Gangnam Style' comes on I can't help but do the dance, let go and get ‘Gangham’.

The Robot

Trying to make yourself look like a robot is always a good move when you feel tired, but don't want to stop dancing.

The Macarena

All-time party classic, everyone on the dancefloor doing The Macarena makes for some good times.
