It’s no secret that Netflix’s ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Stranger Things’ have enjoyed massive success globally – they’re two of the most watched shows on the platform.
Now, the hype extends to the freezer aisle of Coles supermarkets, with a new range inspired by ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Stranger Things’ on shelves for the first time. There are nine unique products drawing on inspiration from the franchises, allowing customers to experience the shows at home, in a fun new way.
You can step back to 1985 with ‘Stranger Things’-themed frozen pizzas which will turn the world upside down, packaged with the show’s retro Surfer Boy Pizza design boxes. They’re available in two flavours: Rad Pepperoni and Gnarly Hawaiian.
Next up in the world of ‘Stranger Things’ realm is an icy treat straight from Starcourt Mall – one litre tubs of Scoops Ahoy ice cream, available in U.S.S Butterscotch, Cinnamon Buns, and Vanilla and Cookie Pieces.
Last but not least for the ‘Stranger Things’ squad are Hellfire Club Spicy Wing Nibbles, taking inspiration from Hawkins High’s school society, and a four-pack of Beef Brisket BBQ patties from the show’s family owned and operated diner Benny’s Burgers.
Plus, ‘Squid Game’ fans can create their own dinner table game with the launch of a nine-pack of BBQ Chicken Nuggets in the shape of triangles, circles and squares taking inspiration from the iconic guard masks, alongside a 12-pack of Stuffed Potato Mashies with a red and green filling, playing on the red light, green light game from the show.
