Brisbane Welcomes Live Large Festival For All Ages And Abilities

Live Large Festival
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Brisbane will soon be home to Australia's first truly accessible festival, which will celebrate people of all abilities.

So what does it mean by 'accessible'? Well, held over the Easter weekend (15-16 April), Live Large Festival is offering a huge entertainment line-up, food trucks, markets and a range of activities for families and kids.

The Three Handed Beat Bandits, DJ DefWill, William Barton, Rudely Interrupted, a cappella sensation Soulstice, Inside Outside Dance Ensemble and Screech Theatre will all be on the scene to entertain festival goers of all ages.

Ze Pickle, Carolina Kitchen and The Bun Mobile will be joined by many more, ready to fuel up hungry stomachs.

Live Large will offer superior venue accessibility, a private care tent, guided tours for vision and hearing assistance, access to a full service toilet, assistance animals rest areas and more.

Live Large Festival takes place at the Cultural Forecourt of South Bank Parklands from 15-16 April.
