Two years since his last 'death', Bill Cosby has been 'murdered' by Twitter yet again. Cosby's death began trending on Twitter this morning, and still is as I write this.
Fortunately, Cosby is very much alive, and was tweeting pictures of himself wearing his favourite sweaters ("that's a Cosby sweater!") just hours before he allegedly shuffled off this mortal coil.
This is the fifth time Cosby has been the subject of a death hoax in recent years (hey, at least the kids are still talking about him). In 2010, the exasperated comedian told CNN that "I don't want to do this anymore, because this is my fourth time being reported dead... I don't know. Maybe a psychiatrist will say I'm feeding [the rumour starter's] ego, but I just want to say to friends of that person: Just tell him to stop, because it isn't funny."
If that personal appeal couldn't stop deranged Ghost Dad fans from killing off The Cos yet again, there's a good chance today's hoax won't be the last. One day, sadly, Cosby's death will be the genuine article, but here are some videos to stave off that depressing thought...
