Sweet teeth are readying their spoons for the 40th Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day next Tuesday (10 April).
On the day, Aussies can head to any Scoop Store across the country and choose between irresistible flavours like New York Super Fudge Chunk, A Cookie Affair, or Strawberry Cheesecake.
The crowd-pleasing Chocolate Fudge Brownie mixes chunks of brownie goodness with dark and chocolate ice cream, and seven layers of luscious coconut heaven are packed into the mouth-watering, if unsurprisingly-named Coconut Seven Layer Bar.
Non-dairy flavours like Caramel Almond Brittle mean that the whole ice-cream loving squad can come along, even your vegan and otherwise milk-challenged friends.
In fact, we recommend bringing as many friends as possible so you can sample every single flavour.
The annual global event has become an anticipated institution with over a million scoops handed out around the world in 2017.
Australian scoop stores aim to serve up over 110,000 cones at this year’s Free Cone Day, which would herald a new Australian record!
Free Cone Day started in 1979 as a way for co-founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield to celebrate their first year of operation, and reward the loyalty of local customers.
