The 2024 Adelaide Roller Derby (ADRD) season is wrapping up for the year. . . But don’t think it’s going down without a fight!
Two exciting, back-to-back games await, for the price of one, at the Grand Final on 31 August. The battle for this place will see Wild Hearses and Road Train Rollers going head-to-head, before the six-year reigning champs Mile Die Club take on the undefeated Good Ship Salty. . . In what is guaranteed to be a nail-biter, with both teams fighting to take home the gold.
It’s more than just roller derby too – this Grand Final will have all the bells and whistles like entertainment, live commentators, and the bout village, filled with stalls celebrating local creators and exclusive ADRD merch. Plus. . . The little ones are invited to roll around thanks to a space provided for kids to skate – with safety gear of course!
La Mia Luna Pizza will serve up tasty pizzas on the night, plus there’ll be a bar – staffed by all your favourite skaters!
