Kenta Hayashi is a one-man show, creating an orchestra of sound by layering vocals, guitar, effects, percussion, and electronic beats.
The result is a fusion blend of psychedelic dub-jazz surrounded by electronic soundscapes. The Japanese musician continues his Australian tour with shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
But here, he details five unbelievable experiences he has encountered during his world travels.
1. Havasupai, America
After an eight-hour walk on a rough rocks, I found this paradise, Havasupai Indian Village, near Grand Canyon. I broke my leg, but a guy from from the village saved me, and took me to this amazing waterfall.2. The Ganges, India
The local people take a bath, wash their clothes, make chai tea with the water. It's the beginning of life. I saw the most beautiful sunrise in my life from the boat on the Ganges.3. Cologne, Germany
The best busking experience during my Europe and UK tour. I closed my eyes and started playing at a park in Cologne. When I opened my eyes, there were about 200 in the audience shouting with joy.4. Tenkawa, Japan
Tenkawa is a very traditional and beautiful place, which is famous for its pure, clean water. I got a chance to perform at the shrine, which was an extreme sensation.5. Granada, Spain
I saw a flamenco show in a traditional cave. It was life changing. The sound, the groove, the atmosphere were incredible and beyond amazing. The show was so beautiful.Kenta Hayashi Tour Dates
