Erin Fowler and Amber Cronin, The Mill’s co-creative directors and founders, are regularly devising new and exciting happenings for locals.
The team in the heart of Adelaide’s creative heart are partnering with OzAsia Festival and GreenRoom to present two dance masterclasses with esteemed artistic directors Eko Supriyanto and Kyle Page. A must for professional dancers, the workshops are a rare opportunity for Adelaide artists.
One thing The Mill team love just as much as working with artists is feeding them. “We know that sometimes the pennies aren't flowing so we have gotten to know a few good spots to feed a starving (food loving) artist.” Here are their Top 5 favourite places to feast on a budget:

Lucias
Adelaide's institutionalised pasta joint has been the home of many creative conversations for The Mill, and with prices raising a mere .50c at a time: Pasta is your friend! Mill residents often take the pilgrimage from Angas Street to Lucias on Friday nights for the lasagne special. No thats not chicken snitzle its a vegan salad, todays lunch, been going to this place for 15 years from back in the...

Vego & Lovin' It
Well, talk about institutionalised: The Vego & Lovin' it soup practically keeps The Mill alive! This place has also been the home of some big Mill planning sessions, including before Erin and Amber really knew each other and The Mill was a mere concept, Amber and Erin each had important 'meetings' to get to, and then both ended up tables away at Vegos with friends. And it was clear from that moment they were bound to work together – with many pieces of paprika+garlic toast – long into the future.Don't forget to fit us into your weekend! Bambi's Kitchen
Not only did Mill resident Josh from Wholegrain Studios do the fit out, but Erin and Amber decided to work together (when they met for the first time) over a breakfast (read: dessert) at Bambi's. Plus their salads, c'mon, amiright?Parsec // Format
Since its opening Parsec has become the west end go-to for The Mill's meetings. Any place that has this many creative people through its doors over the space of one brunch meeting, and serves Avo on Rye is alright by us!Ajisen Ramen
While there may be new Ramen joints on the scene, Ajisen is still #1 at The Mill. It's where we go with our beloved accountant, Mateus. and it's a good excuse to ride to the West End and sit outside on Leigh Street and soak up some sunshine. We've also never not ordered Nasu Dengaku or Gyoza with our Ramen (plus they serve beers)!WORKSHOPS AT THE MILL
