“Everyone has them. Those crazy moments where you find yourself in a random place or a crazy scenario, wondering what the hell is going on and how on earth you end-up there. We decided to compile a couple stories from each of our band members.”
1. Mughal Sarai, India
Imagine spending 20 hours on a train from the pristine foothills of the Himalayas to your destination: hell on earth. It's the middle of June in the northern hemisphere, in 47-degree heat. You get dropped at your destination; sweaty; exhausted as anything. A case of Delhi Belly to push you over the edge. It was not a fun time to be alive!2. Tallinn, Estonia
I was touring across Europe with my old band 50 Lions in 2010, visiting this crazy city for the first time. One side of the city was cobble stone, the other was skyscrapers. The eerie juxtaposition of the past and future collided in this once war-torn place, now a skyscraper-jungle business hub.3. Snowtown, South Australia
You've seen the movie but we hadn't when we landed in Snowtown while driving through from Adelaide several years back. Peering through the window of an old bank as soon as we rocked up, we later found it was THE bank where all the dead bodies were stored.4. Sahara Desert, Northern Africa
Sand dunes as far as the eye can see. Wind, mirages, camel shit and toothless Berbers cooking tasty cous cous. I slept on a rug under the stars and woke to find sand in every orifice possible.5. Exit 98, Pacific Motorway, QLD
Returning from a gig on the Sunshine Coast, the Corolla is packed to the brim with gear and the heavens are about to unleash with a small, tropical cyclone. Eli blows a tyre in the fast lane at 110km/h and we find ourselves unloading the entire contents to get to the spare at peak hour.PLTS have released the video to their newest single, 'On & On'.
