5 Bondi Beach Margaritas Jazzy Dale Highly Recommends

Jazzy Dale
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

East Sydney alt R&B-pop artist, Jazzy Dale explores the theme of emotional barriers and the figurative masks we wear when meeting someone new on her newest single, the seductive 'Masquerade'.

Released at the start of August, and co-written with longtime collaborators Cyrus Villanueva (Guy Sebastian) and Salty, Jazzy explores the darker, electronic-driven edges of pop, 'Masquerade' showcasing her candid lyricism and the ability to pour her life experiences into her art.

"This song also leans into the idea of self-sabotage," Jazzy says, "like when you start seeing someone new and you try to find everything wrong that you possibly can with them, before you break down those walls that you've built."

'Masquerade' follows Jazzy's earlier 2024 singles 'Show Me Off (feat. Dann Dib)' and 'My Romeo'. Here, Jazzy shares her favourite margaritas when she's out and about in Bondi.

"It's no secret that your girl is a sucker for a tasty margarita. Here are my top five spots in Bondi for the best margaritas. You can thank me later x."

Raw Bar (1/136 Warners Ave, Bondi)

This is a great spot for an early afternoon cocktail, especially in summer overlooking Bondi Beach, and is well known as the best Japanese food in the area. Matcha Margarita: Patron, lime, agave, bergamot, matcha, cucumber.

Makaveli (Shop 2, 177-179 Glenayr Avenue, Bondi)

This place is super small and cozy with a fun vibe and has yummy happy hour snacks, and the custom ice cube is cool. Makaveli Marg: House-infused chilli tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, agave, tajin rim.

Curly Lewis (102-106 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach)

We just love the staff here. Classic Margarita: Blanco tequila, cointreau, lime juice, salt rim.

Taquiza (The Hub at 75-79 Hall St, Bondi Beach)

Who doesn't love a Taco Tuesday with cheap margaritas? Tommy's: Reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, agave néctar.

Mamasaan (57-59 Beach Road, Bondi Beach)

If you like great cocktails and live music this is your place; they also have a Patron Margarita Bottomless Lunch, I mean say less! Coconut Yuzu Margarita: House infused coconut tequila, yuzushu, lime and coconut.
