Canadian folk-pop band The Franklin Electric have conquered their home country over the past 18 months and are currently touring down under for the first time.
Their latest single, 'Strongest Man Alive' – from their debut album ‘This is How I Let You Down’, combines the subtle melodies of Indica label mates Half Moon Run and a driving-folk beat reminiscent of Of Monsters And Men with an interesting instrumentation, including brass and strings.

With an Adelaide show on their itinerary, the band are looking forward to playing tourist. Here are five places they want to visit. Tour guide anyone?
1. Low & Slow American BBQ
We’ve heard Adelaide has been saturated by food trucks, so we’re pretty keen to check them out – specifically this one.2. Coffee Institute
Our band physically would not operate the way it does without coffee, and we’re told this place brews a mean brew.3. Puzzle Park
Apparently there’s an abandoned amusement park somewhere on the outskirts of Adelaide. Who doesn’t love decaying roller coasters?4. Backwater Records
You can’t visit a city and not take a peek at its record stores.5. Streetlight
Our band travels A LOT, so it’s always handy to stock up on books where we can; anything to take your mind off that baby crying in row 12.The Franklin Electric Tour Dates
