It's time to let your saliva glands go into overdrive, with the return in 2021 of the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival.
To be MCd by country-rocker, musician, radio and TV personality Henry Wagons, and with Melbourne rockers The Smith Street Band headlining the music line-up, the 2021 event is set to feature over 100 local and national brewers, cider makers, distillers and winemakers, not to mentioned its biggest BBQ and chef line-up ever.Mornington Peninsula's Red Gum BBQ and Sydney's Black Iron Smokers headline the fattiest, juiciest BBQ line-up that also features interstate guests – the food truck legend himself Raph Rashid and Beatbox Kitchen, Argentinian charcoal masters Señor BBQ, and travelling Filipino coal BBQ party of Hoy Pinoy.
Boston Bay Smallgoods x Smokin Grillers, Ragi's Indian BBQ, Izakaya Kevin and heaps more will represent local BBQ talent.
Joining The Smith Street Band on the music line-up are punk-rock legends Bodyjar and 28 Days, the aforementioned Henry Wagons' outlaw country-rock outfit Wagons, indie-rock darling Jess Locke, Newton punk rockers SCABZ and long-time Cherry Bar resident vinyl slinger DJ Mermaid.
The brewer line-up is still to be announced but patrons can expect 'heaps of heavy hitters that have been itching to get to SA over the past year and will be making their BBF debut'.
"We can't wait to light the fire barrels again; it's been a very long time coming," Director of Beer & BBQ Festival, Aaron Sandow says.
"It's no secret last year was a tough year for the events industry, but it's allowed us to go away and rethink the festival, add some really cool elements that nobody has seen before and spend a lot of time on producing our biggest festival to date – we are pretty stoked with what's in store.
"We know what amazing SA talent we have, but we are also really excited to welcome back brewers, bands and chefs from all over the country that we have always wanted to see at BBF."
