Vege Threads is an Australian eco-fashion label that focuses on sustainability and social awareness.
Ghandi once said “be the change you want to see in the world”, and Vege Threads has taken on that view with their clothing. Their entire range is 100 percent organic cotton and bamboo, naturally dyed, containing no chemicals, ethically made in Indonesia and designed in South Australia, making it easy to see that they're serious about changing the world.
In fact, for every piece sold, Vege Threads donates a percentage of the profits to their sponsor foundation in northern Bali. As well as this, they are constantly looking for new ways to create the best products with the last impact to improve the company's sustainability and greater economic, environmental and social success.
Vege Threads aims to combine simple concepts and sustainability, linking each piece back to the notion of human dependency on nature, and in turn what we can draw and learn from it. The focus is on texture, using 100 percent certified organic cotton jersey and a new luxe eco-friendly tencel fabric.
Recently releasing their debut Australian made collection using Australian made and dyed organic cotton, Vege Threads also offer original natural plant dyed tencel basics. The collection has developed a minimal and raw aesthetic which encompasses the season-less and wearable style.
Vege Threads is now certified by Ethical Clothing Australia for all production within Australia.
