Ubermen Teams Up With Emerging Designers

Ubermen
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

One of Australia’s leading brands in menswear, UBERMEN, is looking to change fashion and transform a community by giving young and emerging designers the chance to showcase their talent in a bid to feature the best of Brisbane.

The label will soon start accepting applications for Australia’s New World City, 'Iconic Design' contest after teaming up with the Royal Brisbane Institution of Technology and 'Snowy June' (Australia) to give deserving students an opportunity to receive an accreditation and experience the industry hands-on.

Dedicated to bringing good values into people’s lives, the competition will also use profits from the entries to acknowledge the future generation of the design industry”as a way of highlighting the importance of empowering and giving back to the community.

Ubbermen1Marketing Executive of UBERMEN, Hayden Wong describes the competition as a “much-needed meaningful contest”, which rewards students for their hard work and creativity.

“Our passion for this city is strong and we aim to expand Brisbane’s culture and opportunities,” he says.

The Brisbane-based label aims to design for its customers by turning day-to-day inspiration into stylish, transitional and functional business and smart casual attire.

Ubbermen2“We are built on the foundation of creativity and understanding of marketing needs ... We value the importance of bringing out the best quality of 'UBERMEN’s designs, with a unique story and meaning behind each piece.”

Uberman opened their flagship George Street store in Brisbane’s CBD earlier this year.
