LA fashion label Wren is pretty stoked that everybody shared their commercial yesterday.
The clothing brand attracted seven million YouTube views in one day for their latest campaign, titled 'First Kiss'. In the clip, directed by Tati Pilieva, strangers — all wearing Wren's fall 2014 collection — meet for the first time and kiss on camera. It sounds lurid, but it's actually pretty heartwarming and adorable.

The clip generated headlines like 'Just 20 Strangers Awkwardly Kissing For The First Time, Because Art', but nope — it was good old fashioned commerce.
Slate notes that the 'strangers' are models Natalia Bonifacci, Ingrid Schram, and Langley Fox (daughter of Mariel Hemingway); musicians Z Berg of The Like, Damian Kulash of OK Go, Justin Kennedy of Army Navy, singer Nicole Simone, and singer-actress Soko (who performs the song that accompanies the clip); and actors Karim Saleh, Matthew Carey, Jill Larson, Corby Griesenbeck, Elisabetta Tedla, Luke Cook, and Marianna Palka.
So, congratulations. Not only did we all share an ad, but we helped a member of OK Go score yet another viral video.
