Take 2 Markets: Fashion Market Shakedown

Melbourne’s favourite pre-loved women’s fashion event Take 2 Markets is packing up her faux fur jacket and ankle boots for a day out in Northcote.

With over 47 fashion lovers confirmed to set up stalls to sell their designer threads, high street favourites and vintage finds, Take 2 Markets will once again draw in the fashion pack at Northcote Town Hall this Sunday (3 May) where shoppers will be privy to prime pre-loved fashion at a fraction of the original price.

Now in it’s eighth year Take 2 Markets has become the go-to destination for women who love fashion but do not follow trends; instead they see the value of enduring style while having one eye on more sustainable practices as they indulge in much loved retail therapy. 

Headed by Emma Clarke and Joanna Sim – who work across fashion, retail and marketing between them and are big supporters of the myriad local designers and makers in Melbourne’s fashion industry – these ladies know how to make it the perfect place to find the holy trinity of fashion finds: a designer piece in a classic style at an enviable price!

This event is the first of two dates booked in Northcote this year, with the market due back in this favourite of the inner-north suburbs in November. Queen Victoria Market, Bendigo and Geelong, are all on the map for the remaining events throughout the year in the market’s calendar.
