For this year's Logies Awards, 'Sunrise' presenter Samantha Armytage followed in the footsteps of porn actresses by baring it all.
No, I don't mean like “that”. Armytage's Instagram followers were given a look at the real her when she posted a mugshot of her face sans makeup on Sunday. The move proved popular, with fans commenting on both her honesty and her natural beauty. As of writing, the post has racked up over 1,600 likes on the photo-sharing service.
This comes hot off the heels of Lorde's Photoshopping controversy; upon discovering doctored photos of herself performing on stage, the young musician Tweeted the message “flaws are OK :-)” to her fans while providing a comparison picture similar to Armytage's:
i find this curious - two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-) pic.twitter.com/PuRhxt2u2O

So where do porn stars come into all this? Well, award winning makeup artist Melissa Murphy set the precedent about a year ago by Instagramming photos of adult actresses before and after working her cosmetic wizardry on them, proving once and for all that the porn industry is (gasp!) unrealistic.
Unfortunately, not every adult actress comes off looking as naturally good looking as Armytage and Lorde; without makeup, a few look like they've been possessed by the 'Exorcist' demon.
