Pop Up Barber Shop Comes To Woolloongabba

The team behind Camira barber shop Johnny Voodoo's will set up shop at the antique superstore this Sunday.

Haircuts and secondhand furniture may not sound like natural bedfellows but Woolloongabba Antique Centre refuses to let that get in its way, as it plays host to Johnny Voodoo's pop-up barber shop this Sunday.

Customers can indulge in a quick quiff, a fresh faceshave or a buzzcut from some of Brisbane's best barbers before perusing the warehouse's collection of vintage treasures.

The cult barber shop is known for its signature rockabilly cuts and stock of hard-to-find hair care products, including Lucky 13 pomade and shampoo from male grooming specialists, Uppercut Deluxe.

WAC is also something of a Brisbane favourite and has been trading in retro clothing, up-cycled homewares and bric-a-brac since 2009.

The warehouse features over 60 antique dealers as well as a '50s themed cafe. Johnny Voodoo's pop up barber shop is at Woolloongabba Antique Centre on the last Sunday of each month.
