Minimalist Jewellery is an online jewellery store that features the designer products of Amelia Crumpton. Her jewellery designs are simple yet elegant. She provides a range of high quality products that anyone can enjoy.

Amelia has just released her 'Marbleous Creations' range that features a collection of light and dark marble designed earrings and bangles that give her already beautiful designs a touch of innovation and elegance.

Amelia answered a few questions about her company, and the inspiration behind her designs and what influences her. She also discussed what ranges she has available and spoke about the new marble range.

What is Minimalist Jewellery?
Minimalist Jewellery is dedicated to bringing regular inspiration in the way of creating the perfect collection of minimal jewellery pieces, all while staying true to my signature minimal philosophy.
Minimalist Jewellery is a destination, not only for inspiration on what key pieces every woman needs, but also a guide for those who wish to follow suit and seek simplicity in their jewellery.

What is your 'signature minimal philosophy'?
I'm all about less is more. My home and wardrobe literally only consist of simple, clean lines and chic black, white and grey.

Who are your target audiences?
I believe we have pieces that will suit any woman. Mums have bought our pieces for their young daughters. My nan even even rocks some of our earrings.

What inspired the 'Marbleous Creations' range?
Marble is every where I look lately. It's always going to be classic, but we've given it an update with our clean, simple shapes and lines. We literally cannot keep enough stock of our Double Ballin' Marble Earrings. I am just so happy that everyone loves them as much as me.

Where did you get your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from everywhere, street style, fashion bloggers, European runways, and even shapes and lines that I see in every day items, such as around my home.

What started this career for you?
I've always loved fashion, especially accessories. My favourite thing to do when I was a child was to put on all my Mum's rings and bracelets (all at once mind you). My ears are really sensitive, I was finding it difficult to find pieces that were not only simple, affordable but also great quality. And that's how Minimalist Jewellery started.

mc3
How long have you been in business?
Not long at all. We only started in July last year.

You must love all of your products, but do you have any favourites from your previous and/or new collection?
I must admit, my favourite piece changes daily depending on my mood. But my all time favourite would be our first pair of earrings we started with, our Linear Bar Earrings.

mc5
Do you wear your own designs, and what occasions would you wear them?
Every single day! Since my son Frankie was born just over a month ago, my Initial F Earrings haven't moved from my ears. I can even wear them to bed. Our jewellery can be worn on any occasion, it's simple enough for every day wear, or if it's date night, stack some Double Ballin' Bangles and pop on that little black dress and you are ready, just like that.

You can you buy your jewellery online from your website, is there anywhere else you can find your jewellery?
We do have some fabulous stores that stock our jewels all over Australia, but online is where you can find our full collection.

Is your brand exclusively for women? Do you have any plans to design products for men in the future?
We have been getting asked that question a lot lately. I think there is a huge untapped market out there for the minimalist man. And yes, we are working on it. Stay tuned!

mc6
Who are your favourite designers? And do you draw influence from them in your own designs?
I'm always on the hunt for new designers. They influence everything we do. I love fashion and how a great outfit change your mood instantly. Currently I'm loving Dion Lee, Thurley and Zimmerman.

What is the ultimate goal for your business?
To continue to source and design unique and minimal pieces for our customers with a continued focus to grow throughout Australia, Asia, Canada, Europe, and the United States.
