Kanye West and Nike's final shoe collaboration, the 'Red October' Air Yeezy II, has sold out within 11 minutes of going on sale.
The all-red shoes were only made available through Nikestore.com, where they sold out almost immediately.
West first wore a pair of the Red Octobers at last year's Governor's Ball Music Festival in June. The hype for the shoe was immense, but the release was complicated when West parted ways with Nike and signed a $10 million deal with Adidas.
"The old me — without a daughter — might have taken this Nike deal because I just love Nike so much, blah, blah, blah," West told radio station Hot 97 last November, "but the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family."
Is it just us, or should Adidas have included a clause in the $10 million contract that banned West from saying things like "I just love Nike so much" in interviews?
Regardless, the Red Octobers are lost in the world now — it'll cost you over $10,000 to buy a pair on eBay.
Hope you've been saving your Coinyes.
