Young entrepreneur, Dominique Michon, got tired of seeing gorgeous shoes on the runway but never being able to afford them or not being able to find them in store – so she created her own.
Hailing from the Netherlands, Dominique's unique new fashion accessory company – Heel Up – provides and easy way to dress up high heels. “The inspiration behind Heel Up basically came from having a taste for high-fashion on a university student’s budget. I made the first Heel Up prototypes with the goal of dressing up an old pair of my heels to wear to a few holiday parties and discovered that I got more compliments on my old shoes than on my new dress.”
With eight completely different looks, Heel Up is a reusable product that can jazz up the simplest of heels. Simply hook one elastic under the heel and the other under your foot inside the shoe and voila – you've got yourself a unique pair of accessories for your feet!
