Eye-catching prints and stylish designs are emerging from the shadows of Australian fashion, as newcomer Casy Ramage makes her way into the spotlight with a fresh, exciting brand.
Established in 2014, 'Annabelle and Eve' is based on the Gold Coast but ships all around Australia. It not only looks great, but prides itself on “evolving through the wandering of the mind”. The pieces in the collection feature a blend of patterns, colours and shapes inspired by nature.
The holistic healing process of raiki is also infused in the process of creating this line, and mosaics aiming to stimulate and balance the mind are printed on the swimwear. These help to wipe the mind of subconscious thoughts surrounding anxiety and depression. Prints are digitally placed on the fabric in production, and then brought to life by local seamstresses. They are made locally, which means 'Annabelle and Eve' is able to support small, local businesses within Australia.
Casy believes she got her artistic flair from her father. While living in France, she visited a Fashion House and her love of fashion was sparked. After a year and a half in France, she packed her bags and moved back to Australia, completing a Basic Fashion Design Course. During this course, Casy was able to learn the fundamentals and skills of being able to run a business in the industry. She eventually took a change of pace and stepped into the world of Marketing, where she would then learn more about maintaining a brand.
After years in Brisbane, Casy moved to the Gold Coast and returned to the world of fashion. She combined it with her passion for the healing powers of raiki, and 'Annabelle and Eve' was born. It has gained respect from the fashion world both in Australia and overseas, and aims to inspire a positive world “one print at a time”.
The 'Annabelle and Eve' swimwear line is available now.
