After entering the Australian market earlier this year, Swedish retail giant H&M have today announced further expansions in the country with two new Brisbane locations confirmed for the new year.
Hennes & Mauritz, better known as H&M will launch their first Brisbane store in March at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre followed by a store in Queen Street Mall later in the year. With only two stores national wide so far – one in Melbourne's GPO and one in Macquarie Centre (NSW) – the international fashion retailer offers a broad product range of styles including the latest trends and items that allow customers to create a personal style.

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has welcomed the announcement that H&M will open its first Queensland store in their centre. “H&M is a highly successful international brand that Queensland has been wanting for a very long time. We are delighted that H&M chose Indooroopilly Shopping Centre to open its first Queensland store and that we will be able to offer our customers yet another exceptional fashion shopping option,” says the Centre Manager of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Leah Mienert.
“This year we completed a major redevelopment and progressively unveiled new stores and retailers, many of which are not located anywhere else in Queensland or Australia. This illustrates the growth of Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and Brisbane within the fashion scene. H&M at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is another first for Queensland and we are very excited to have them opening here in March.

“We have seen several new stores open over the past two months, including many who have chosen Indooroopilly Shopping Centre to also open their first Queensland store. There are nine new stores opening before Christmas, and a few remaining stores, like H&M, set to open early in the new year."
