This Saturday's (2 May) Vindie Markets will be one of the biggest held in West End, with double the market stalls both inside the Rumpus Room, and outside in the carpark.
Gypsy, hippy, vintage and indie market stalls open at a cruisey 10am, and wrap up by 3pm. The response from these gypsy markets has been overwhelming so far; if the Facebook event is anything to go by, West End will need to brace itself for a hoard of hippies this Saturday!
The Vindie Markets boast racks upon racks of essential, pre-loved and vintage clothing and accessories for sale from both private wardrobes and vintage dealers, alongside handmade gypsy jewellery, indie-made clothing and gifts, and hippy treasures galore.
A selection of lifestyle stalls will also feature psychic, taro and healing experiences. With the extra space now available outside, Vindie Markets will also feature live, acoustic music throughout the day, and short workshops which are free for the public to learn something new.
As usual, the Rumpus Room bar is open from 10am so you can drink and shop; or keep the boyfriend happy.
Vindie has been hosting vintage markets at the Rumpus Room since 2010, and are now looking at a second event in Fortitude Valley.
