Chi Khi: Natalie Bassingthwaighte's Eco-Friendly Kids Clothing Line

Krystle is an experienced journalist who interviews musicians and other creatives for scenestr. You might spot her in the wild at music festivals, comedy nights, and the occasional death metal gig.

She may have one of the most complicated names to spell, but Natalie Bassingthwaighte's new fashion line brings an unmistakeable element of stylish simplicity to kids clothing

Natalie and her incredibly complicated last name have been gracing Aussie TV for years, singing, acting and hosting some of our favourite shows. But lately, the multi-talented entertainer has been dedicating most of her time to raising her two kids, Harper and Hendrix. Both of her little ones have sensitive skin and Natalie found it frustratingly difficult to find clothes that kept them comfortable and happy but still had some style about them.

Rather than simply moaning about the lack of options, Natalie jumped straight into action, researching, designing, and pulling together resources to create her own fashion line to address the problem. Launched in March this year, Chi Khi, offers stylish urban basics and accessories, made from eco-friendly bamboo, to keep even the most sensitive young skin happy.

The Chi Khi line has a monochromatic palette, so you can mix and match without a thought. The bamboo fibres create a unique combination of softness and durability making the clothes super-comfy and able to endure whatever adventures the little ones take them on. With winter now upon us, Chi Khi are offering a free beanie for the first 100 customers to purchase a Charlie Bamboo Romper. You can choose from grey or monochrome and sizing is available for newborns to toddlers.

The beanie perfectly matches the adorable romper and adds an extra touch of cuteness with its floppy little ears. The bamboo fabric makes it warm in winter but cool in summer and the romper features an inverted zipper for simplified nappy changing. Perhaps best of all, the rompers feature fold down cuffs to allow for growth spurts, making them a perfect combination of stylishness, uniqueness and practicality.
