Global lifestyle sportswear brand Champion has launched its highly anticipated Pride collection with new campaign The Game Is Not Over, aiming to empower the voices within the Pride community.
It’s a genderless offering, celebrating unity and shining a light on Australian sporting club the Queer Sporting Alliance (QSA). Enthusiasts can don the colours of the Progress Pride Flag in a range of hoodies, crews, tees, hats, socks, and jerseys from Champion.
Champion has been the major sponsor for QSA since 2021, delivering ongoing funding and uniforms for clubs nationwide. To showcase the core essence of The Game Is Not Over campaign, Champion has also partnered with internationally-renowned LGBTQIA+ activist and director James J. Robinson to produce a powerful short film and stills – a nod to Champion’s sports heritage, it’s set in a 90s-inspired locker room and features a queer cast addressing the viewer to “do it for those who can’t, those who are gone, and those without a voice”.
“Celebrating diversity, solidarity, identity, and advocacy are key pillars of Champion and we have a long-standing commitment to support the LGBTIQA+ community including our on-going partnership with the Queer Sporting Alliance,” Marketing Manager for Champion Australia and New Zealand Sheleen Jegasothy says. ”We’re honoured to work with the community both in-front and behind the camera to present our latest Pride campaign, The Game Is Not Over, as an important message and part of our on-going commitment towards creating a more inclusive world.”
The collection is available now in Champion stores and online.
