The second annual Byron Bay International Fashion Festival will show the world Byron is more than sand and surf; they have style.
Held in April, BBIFF boasts a programme full of different runway shows, demonstrations, discussions, and parties.
Some of the Byron-based designers featured this year include: Fairy Floss (party wear), Liar & A Thief (swimwear), Strange Dreams (costume), and Harriet James (casual wear). As well as regular shows, fashionistas will hear from the designers in a discussion panel about getting started in the fashion industry.

Makeup demonstrations will run during the day, while later at night there will be several unique performances including: the Byron Ballet Company, the Berlin Cabaret transgender dance group, and music from duo No Frills Twins.
For those more interested in buying than window shopping (or getting all the industry know-how), the fashion expo will feature designer stalls and places for the general public to buy accessories and beauty products.
BBIFF is a chance for people to dress up and be inspired by more than 18 designers, and to watch some weird and wonderful performances, all while enjoying the Byron Bay surroundings.
