Bacchus Serves Brunch This Australia Day

Bacchus
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

If you wish to divorce yourself from another boring, booze-filled Australia day this year and wish to opt for a more decadent way to celebrate this nation's founding, Bacchus South Bank is the place for you.

The vibrant and exclusive venue will play host to the inaugural Sunshine brunch, where guests are invited to gorge themselves on an array of decadent brunch canapés, including the lavish fruit, oyster and Champagne stations.

Guests will be entertained by Brisbane five piece band Sons of Midnight, whose self-titled album has been climbing the European charts since signing with Universal Music 18 months ago. The night will also include a performance from magician Mike Tyler Magic and a poolside fashion parade featuring labels Molly & Polly Swimwear and 2EROS.

General admission for Sunrise at Bacchus is $70, which includes a two hour package from 12-2pm (doors open at 11:30am) of brunch canapés, Champagne, premium spirits, and wine. However, private tables are also available at $1500, which includes two premium bottles of spirits and VIP model service.

Celebrations do not end there, with the Australia Day after party kicking off from 2pm featuring the musical stylings of Cutloose, Gavin Boyd, Benn Hopkins, and Sharif on Sax.
