Assembly Label was established in 2011 by Damien Horan and Daniel Oliver, two friends with a like-minded appreciation for fine-design and dedication to well made clothing.
The label began as a menswear brand, constructed from high-quality fabrics and showcasing classic shapes. They stocked in just one boutique in Australia, and the Assemble Label philosophy was born.
Eventually, after originally basing Assembly Label around men's beachside living and wardrobe essentials as well as tailored garments and core staples, the brand expanded to embrace denim, outerwear and even accessories.
It took three years for the boys to debut Assembly Label's women's collection. Launching in 2014, it comprised of high quality cottons, silks and denims. Assembly made sure to keep the original fundamentals of the brand intact with this new venture, while at the same time attempting to create an ageless wardrobe for the everywoman.
Flash forward to now. Assembly is stocked in over 200 stores around the world, and prides itself on being at the centre of wardrobe essentials for both men and women. In a world of ever-changing fashion and modern dressing, Assembly challenges the norm and still allows their pieces to sit still with timeless looks and contemporary basics.
Since its inception with everyday menswear, and debut women’s collection, Assembly Label evolved once more in early 2015, opening its first concept store in Sydney’s iconic Bondi Road.
With the perfect balance of relaxed living and leisure imbued into the space, the journey continued once more to allow a second Sydney store and café in the beachside suburb of Manly.
The combination of the boutique/cafe provides shoppers with a unique elevated shopping experience, balancing lifestyle and community.
