But before then, GYRS share their Top 5 favourite stage boots.

5. Creeper Boots

Creepers boots are great for a bit of lift while strutting in on stage, however they’re prone to a bit of ankle rolling.

4. Cowboy Boots

Cowboy boots have always been popular with rock & roll. If the sole is nice and worn you can do an amazing power-slide across the stage and follow it up with a nice round of boot skootin'.

3. New Rock Boots

These are very popular with the goth metallers. These boots give you both height and chunkiness making it extremely easy to do a great stage stomp while head banging like a champion.

2. Chuck Taylors

These are the most versatile, non-genre specific stage boot around. They can be worn comfortably both off stage and on and come in a number of different colours, though if you don’t wear black Chucks we can’t be friends.

1. Doc Martens

Docs are quite simply the all-round best stage boot you can get. They have an air-cushion sole for optimum stage lift while bouncing or stage diving; they look awesome with jeans or shorts. You can change the laces to make you even more awesome and they seem to last forever.
