Brisbane Fashion Month has officially launched.
Brisbane – and Queensland – will be celebrated throughout the event with runways, workshops, panel discussions and pop-ups featuring local designers, makers and creatives exclusively.
There will also be new additions to the programme, including the event's first ever beauty-focused event, Brisbane Beauty Forum, and a digital runway called Art + Fashion shot in the Museum Of Brisbane gallery against the backdrop of exhibition Bauhaus Now.
Audiences will be able to view major runways in livestream events, meanwhile off the runway you can attend curated forums including Art + Fashion with Alison Kubler in conversation with Christie Nicolaides and Lydia Pearson (Shilo + Lydia) and a panel on the changing face of fashion and inclusivity.
There are more free events than ever, like opportunities to visit Brisbane manufacturers and makers' spaces at d+k active HQ in north Brisbane and California Lane in Fortitude Valley.
The full programme can be viewed here.
Brisbane Fashion Month is on from 1-31 October.
