Smoko is over, with loveable punks The Chats picking up their instruments and returning to the stage for an epic east-coast tour next month.
"We're taking some mates on the road in February for the Bargain Bin Tour," enthuses the lads.A band who've built a cult following while attracting some heavy hitter fans (Dave Grohl, Iggy Pop and QOSTA) thanks to such hits as 'Pub Feed', 'Bus Money', 'Identify Theft' and 'The Price Of Smokes', The Chats will be joined by Fat Wreck Chords alumni, Portland punks Mean Jeans, Melbourne's hottest new addition to the power-pop scene The Prize, and WA punk supergroup Ghoulies (featuring members of Dennis Cometti, Aborted Tortoise and Kitchen People).
Brisbane locals The Unknowns (featuring two-thirds of The Chats: Josh Hardy and Eamon Sandwith) and Boondall Boys (who feature Cosmic Psychos Mad Macka) will also join the run of shows at select dates including Brisbane.
