Multi award-winning South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson will hit the road again in 2023 with ‘Just No’.
We live in trying times, where we’re all acutely aware of each other’s opinions and shortcomings. This makes us the most frustrated population in the history of humankind. Past generations may have been a little more generous and let things slide, like when someone blatantly cuts in front of you. This generation? No. Just no!
In ‘Just No’, Urzila has discovered that our frustrations are what brings us together. That’s right – not sport, not love. . . Not even peace. But people who do us wrong. Even Urzila’s ‘That’s Enough Already!’ podcast sees her discussing all things frustration.
Urzila is a two-time winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s (MICF) People’s Choice Award. She’ll open her new show at MICF 2023 before heading around the country.
