Trevor Noah Adds Shows to East Coast Tour

Lovers of race jokes rejoice! A third show in Brisbane and a second Sydney date have been announced for South African comedian Trevor Noah's critically acclaimed stand-up routine, The Racist.

A show that started its life with a sold-out run at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with Noah presented by British comedian Eddie Izzard, The Racist has now toured to rave reviews across South Africa and London.

Noah pokes fun at his own mix-and-match heritage—he was born to a black Xhosa mother and white Swiss father during apartheid—and urges viewers to lighten up with the political correctness around race. His first visit to the multicultural minefield that is Australia will no doubt provide plenty of fresh material.

Finishing up at the Melbourne Comedy Festival on April 21, Noah brings his unique brand of observational humour to Brisbane from April 23.

Snap up those tickets quickly, though: Noah's first two Brisbane shows have already sold out.

Trevor Noah performs The Racist  dates:

Mar 28-Apr 21 — Trades Hall (Melbourne)
Apr 23 — Sit Down Comedy Club (Brisbane) (SOLD OUT)

Apr 24 — The Tivoli (Brisbane) (SOLD OUT)
Apr 25 — The Tivoli (Brisbane)
Apr 26-27 — Enmore Theatre, Sydney
