‘Hard Quiz’ Master, Overlord and Gold Logie Award-winner Tom Gleeson is adding a third dimension to Australia’s hardest TV quiz, swapping the studio for a theatre and hitting the road.
‘Hard Quiz’ is now in its sixth season on ABC – the game show where the host doesn’t hide his contempt, and the prize is the chance to stare down a camera while holding a mug.
But this will be ‘Hard Quiz’ like you’ve never seen it. Audience members will be pulled on stage for a live roasting from Tom. When he’s not flaying contestants for the enjoyment of audience members, he’s a successful stand-up comedian who knows how to command a theatre.
This is ‘Hard Quiz’, a huge live crowd. . . And no rules.
“People have been asking me for ages to bring ‘Hard Quiz’ to their city,” Tom says. “Finally I can say YES! Join me for ‘Hard Quiz’ live in your hometown. . . Away from the watchful eye of the ABC lawyers. Things will get loose!”
The ‘Hard Quiz’ tour will begin in Canberra, before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Perth and Brisbane across the year.
