In its 30th year, Australia's longest running comedy club, The Laugh Resort in Perth, is welcoming back some of its most popular and significant contributors to the local and national comedy landscape.
The Laugh Resort has launched some of comedy’s biggest names (Rove, Hughesy, Claire Hooper to name a few), showcasing top and emerging comics monthly year-round and five nights a week during Fringe season.
Following packed houses for Peter Rowsthorn and the one and only Austen Tayshus in June/July, Perth Comedy's (peer-voted) Fave Venue of 2020 is bringing a slew of homegrown faves to the stage in August-September.

17 August features the act once dubbed the ‘King of Perth Comedy’, Werzel Montague, joined by former Nickelodeon and NatGeo TV host Luke Joseph Ryan, along with ex-Perthling and founder of Jokers Comedy in Hobart, Gavin Baskerville.
September’s third-Wednesday-of-the-month line-up celebrates 31 years to the day that WA’s uniquely not-for-profit comedy association was formed, featuring former club managers Sian Choyce and Chris Dooley, Perthonality Famous Sharron and lots more to be announced.
Each month the pro comics are followed by a handful of open mic spots, so it’s worth sticking around until the end of the night – you never know what comedy gold you might strike.
Tucked upstairs inside The Shoe Bar at Yagan Square, the Club seats just 100 lucky laughter lovers, so it’s recommended you lock in your LOLs ahead of time if you want in on these regular laugh fests. 17 August, 21 September (continuing monthly) and more special events coming soon, at The Laugh Resort (Perth).
