Chris Taylor and Andrew Hansen from 'The Chaser' are set to make their debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) with their show, 'In Conversation With Lionel Corn'.
Although this is their first MICF show, it marks the duo's fourth collaboration – following their 2014 national tour of 'One Man Show', their musical comedy 'Dead Caesar' for the Sydney Theatre Company, and their mockumentary radio series 'The Blow Parade' for Triple J, which won the 2010 ARIA Award for Best Comedy Release.

Fictional, prickly genius, Lionel Corn, will be played by Andrew Hansen who will be answering questions from a ridiculously inept moderator, played by Chris Taylor. Satirising earnest and sycophantic celebrity Q&A events, the show will be complete with transparently fawning introductions, microphone malfunctions and irritating, audience questions as Lionel Corn desperately tries to highlight the importance of his life's work.
With guest comedians making cameos each night of the show as well as a chance for the more daring audience members to ask questions of the infamous Mr Corn himself, 'In Conversation With Lionel Corn' will be a unique and entertaining experience for festival-goers this April.
International press have said the show is 'lame – not nearly enough Mohammed references!' (Charle Hebdo). And Tony Abbott has said the show would have earned the funnymen knighthoods had there been more British, elitist and casually racist comments.
The Chasers perform Melbourne International Comedy Festival, 7-19 April.
