Is there any better way to round out 2020 than to laugh?
A stack of Queensland comedians will do what they do best across the Sunshine Coast in the inaugural Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival. Festival HQ will be the Sunshine Coast's new entertainment precinct, NightQuarter in Birtinya.
"We all need a laugh and this year has been incredibly challenging for everyone," Nightquarter owner Michelle Christoe says. "We are proud to support this new comedy venture to help put Sunny Coast on the map for comedy!"
The all-star line-up includes headline shows from Steph Tisdell, Vanessa Conlin, Anna Brennan, Jacques Barrett and more, with the festival also featuring sit-down dinner shows at the Malt Shovel Taphouse, a competition for emerging comedians at Solbar in Maroochydore and an all-ages family event, with more to be announced.
