Award-winning British comedian, bestselling author, podcaster and mother, Sophie McCartney will make her Australian live debut in 2024.
Given the title 'funniest mum on Instagram' by magazine-website Mother & Baby UK, McCartney brings her Tired & Tested shows to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in June.The show bounces from conversations about perky tits to killing nits, as Sophie ventures into the perilous world of parenthood with the LOLs generated set to test pelvic floor muscles to the max(i pad).
"I can't wait to kick off the Aussie leg of the tour! That said, I will be carting three under 10s halfway 'round the world on a plane. . . so expect me to be incredibly tired and tested when I get to you," Sophie says.
"I may have to change the name of the show to 'Sedated and Sectioned'. I'm sure it'll be fine. . . 23 hours will fly by.
"I have been 'down under' once before, in my 20s, but this will be my first time performing here – which I'm 'stoked' about. You guys are so chilled and up for a good time – it's going to be great!
"I'm also looking forward to seeing alllllll the sights – the Sydney Opera House, Great Barrier Reef, Rottnest, and of course Chris Hemsworth's house. . . from behind a bush."
