Houston comedian, actor and writer Sheng Wang is hitting our shores.
Sheng’s first Netflix special, ‘Sweet & Juicy’, was produced and directed by Ali Wong. He was a featured stand-up on HBO’s ‘2 Dope Queens’, and also wrote for the ABC show ‘Fresh Off The Boat’.
Sheng is coming into his own – two decades of performing began with Sheng doing stand-up for touristy audience in New York, unwilling to give an Asian American comedian the time of day, to now, having his own successful Netflix special.
“I'm a positive person. To me, going bald is not about hair loss, it's about face gain. It's not a receding hairline, it's an advancing facial frontier,” Sheng says. “It's exciting. One day, I'll have a whole head of face.”
Sheng currently lives in Los Angeles, where, in his time off, he likes to explore botanical gardens and discover new ways to snack.
