Beloved Irish stand-up comedian Shane Todd will bring his new show ‘Mummy’ to Australia in February of 2024.
The tour kicks off in Fremantle, before heading to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
In the last year, the Irish comedy superstar has sold out shows across America and Canada, as well as being the support act on Kevin Hart’s tour, and he has enjoyed continued success with his hugely popular ‘Tea With Me’ podcast.
He has also launched a new podcast series, titled ‘We’re Not F…ing Historians’. It’s an alternative guide to Irish history. Plus, he’s hosting the BBC New Comedy Awards in Belfast, and is set to appear in the new series of ‘The Stand Up Sketch Show’ for ITV.
This new show, ‘Mummy’, offers Shane’s trademark, observational storytelling, with a sassy bite.
Shane has adored comedy for more than a decade: “Despite my first few shows going really badly I knew I wanted to get better and keep doing it,” he told scenestr earlier this year. “That was sixteen years ago and I still aim to keep improving.”
Tickets are on sale 20 October.
