Recently named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics Of All Time, Russell Peters is returning to the global stage with an all-new tour.
After building his new act in clubs across the United States over the past year, Russell’s back with his take on cancel culture, ageing, and the current state of the world.
Russell’s got a blue belt with three stripes in Jiu Jitsu, and is an ardent DJ and hip hop junkie. He started doing stand-up at the age of 19, and spent the next 15 years honing his craft at clubs across Canada and the UK.
He’s had his tours broadcast on television, has set attendance records at venues from Madison Square Garden to the Sydney Opera House, and has been awarded Gemini, Peabody, Emmy and Canadian Screen Awards.
His ‘Act Your Age’ tour was scheduled for a time before everything changed.
“I was supposed to start this tour in 2020, but then, I’m not sure if you guys heard, but something happened,” Russell says.
Tickets are on sale 4 July at 9am.
