Russell Brand Is Headed To Australia

Russell Brand, comedy’s enfant terrible, is headed Down Under.

He has just announced plans to tour his I Am A Walrus stand-up show around Australia for five dates at the end of this year.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek star will kick off his Australian sojourn in Adelaide on November 30, before sending shockwaves through Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne. The acerbic wit will conclude his tour at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre on December 8.

It’s been a big year for the trans-Atlantic comedy rock star whose ruffian charm was unleashed in Rock of Ages and at the Olympics Closing Ceremony. With more movies in production, Brand will no doubt continue to outrage well into the New Year.
