Cheeky chap Rob Beckett brings his stand-up show ‘Wallop’ to Australia this November.
It’s been a busy few years for the Mouth Of The South. Now, he’s coming down under to fill us in and make us laugh.
During the pandemic, Rob has kept himself busy through the hugely popular podcast ‘Parenting Hell’, co-presented with Josh Widdicombe. The podcast has received more than 25 million downloads. It sees the pair interviewing fellow parents on their successes and failures at parenting. Guests have included Katherine Ryan, Jonathan Ross, Kerry Godliman and more.
The podcast has been a regular fixture atop the iTunes podcast chart.
Rob has also penned a book – ‘A Class Act’. It’s his autobiographical account of being working-class in the middle-class world of television and comedy. At work, he’s the Cockney geezer, but to his mates down the pub in south-east London, he’s the theatrical one. ‘A Class Act’ is out now.
Rob burst on to the comedy circuit ten years ago, and hasn’t looked back since.
Tickets are on sale 9 May at 9am.
