Local, national and international stand-up comedians and performance artists are coming to Perth this April and May for Perth Comedy Festival.

Global comedy heavyweights include the likes of critically acclaimed Scotsman Daniel Sloss. . . Irish comedy powerhouse Joanne McNally. . . Barcelona-based Irish comedian Kyla Cobbler. . . and Canada’s Colin Mochrie and Assad Mecci, joining forces for ‘HYPROV – Improv Under Hypnosis’.

Plus, there’s the return of Malaysian doctor-turned-comedian Dr Jason Leong, UK-born Australian resident Nurse Georgie Carroll, Hong Kong’s Chan Lok Tim, and annual Perth visitor, Ireland’s David O’Doherty.

Irishfolk Chris Kent, Enya Martin, Mike Rice and Alison Spittle join the fun, all making their Perth Comedy Festival debuts.

The English contingent in 2026 includes comedy maverick Elf Lyons, Russian-British comedian Olga Koch, the award-winning Daniel Fox, the 27-year-old dyspraxic, gay, Mancunian Manchild Dan Tiernan, festival stalwart Stephen K Amos, and UK drag queen Myra DuBois.

Then from the US, there’s Abby Govindan and Rosebud Baker, Tom Sainsbury from across the ditch in NZ, Singaporean stand-up powerhouse Fadzri Rashid, and Danish comic Sofie Hagen.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of The Umbilical Brothers’ show ‘Speedmouse’, as well as 20 years of the hilarious, bizarre, unforgettable Tape Face (NZ).

From our own backyard, audiences can look forward to seeing Jimmy Rees, Josh Thomas, Bron Lewis, Blake Pavey, Carly Electric, Nazeem Hussain, Dave Hughes, Heath Franklin’s Chopper, Geraldine Hickey, Lou Wall, Jenny Tian, Frenchy, Emma Holland, Chris Parker, Dan Rath, Daniel Connell, Damien Power, Dave Thornton, Laura Davis, Nath Valvo, Nick Cody, Nikki Britton, Zoe Coombs Marr, Matt Okine, Zachary Ruane (Aunty Donna), Australia’s first attractive comedian™ Elouise Eftos, Rohan Arneil, Daniel Muggleton and Cassie Workman.

There’ll be specialty comedy nights like Teacher Comedy Night, Future Science Talks, and The Unhelpful Therapist. . . And the jewel in the comedy crown, the Perth Comedy Festival Galas, run on Wednesdays throughout the festival. Plus there’s Hour Of Power, Aboriginal Comedy Allstars, WA Comedy Allstars and Best Of The Fest International.
