Comedian and online sensation Nurse Blake will head to Australia for the first time this December, bringing his latest show ‘The PTO Comedy Tour’.
Playing in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, his Sydney show will be a part of the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival.
Nurse Blake is a one-of-a-kind entertainer, using his experience as a nurse for a fun-filled comedy event celebrating the hard work of the healthcare providers. There’ll be candid and raw stories from Blake’s time in nursing school, and his shifts at the bedside. Blake uses humour to advocate for nurses, and storytelling to captivate audiences.
He’s got quite the following – the most popular ‘nurse influencer’ on social media, he has more than 3.5 million followers. Blake has been a nurse for more than seven years, working in a number of roles at Level 1 Trauma centres around the US. He’s also a founder of Nurses Support Their Young, aiming to promote healthy work environments throughout the healthcare industry.
In 2021, Blake launched a podcast with his husband Brett, where they cover topics relevant to nurses and healthcare workers alike. He’s also a #1 best-selling author with his children’s book ‘I Want To Be A Nurse When I Grow Up’.
